What Consultation includes
A consultation specialist walks with the participant through every part of CFSS.
Orientation and choosing a model
An orientation to CFSS when services start and every year, including help choosing between the agency model and the budget model.
Finding the right providers
Help finding and contacting an agency-provider or FMS provider that fits the participant’s needs and preferences.
Building the service delivery plan
Help developing, carrying out, documenting, and reviewing the person-centered CFSS service delivery plan.
Ongoing support
Check-ins, answers to questions, and an annual review so the plan keeps working as needs change.
Our independence promise
Consultation must be independent. If you already receive CFSS (formerly PCA) or waiver services from Marsin, we cannot be your consultant, and we will help you find one who can.
We share the full range of agency-provider and FMS options in your area. If you later choose Marsin for CFSS, we will help you move to an independent consultant.

Questions from referrers
Do you serve my county?
Yes. Marsin provides CFSS Consultation to participants statewide.
What do you need from me?
Your contact information and the participant’s name, county, and preferred language. Date of birth, PMI number, and assessment date help if you have them, but they are not required to start.
Can you provide consultation to someone who already gets CFSS?
Yes, if their CFSS (formerly PCA) comes from another agency. If the person already gets CFSS or waiver services from Marsin, the rules say we cannot also be their consultant. In that case, we will help them find a consultant who can.
